Sales in Vistancia’s master planned communities more than doubled in 2015. After a two-year lull, this increase reflects the overall growth in single-family home sales in the Phoenix metropolitan area, continuing the momentum begun during the second half of 2014.
In its annual survey of the top-selling master planned communities, RCLCO ranked Vistancia second in the state and 12th in the nation. John Burns Real Estate Consulting’s annual review of 230 communities places Vistancia second in the state and 13th in the country.
Vistancia sold 466 homes in 2015, a 107 percent increase over the 225 homes sold in 2014. Helping spur this growth are new home designs from Ashton Woods, David Weekley Homes, and Toll Brothers. These builders offer buyers a wide variety of designs to fit any family’s needs.
In addition to high-quality homes, exemplary community lifestyle features and resident amenities helped increase sales growth in 2015. Vistancia neighborhoods offer indoor and outdoor recreation areas, parks and trails, public and private golf courses, and community events such as the annual holiday lights contest and the Vistancia Food Truck Experience.
Vistancia also offers families an excellent education. Vistancia Elementary School was one of only four across the state named a National Blue Ribbon School. The U.S. Department of Education presents this award to the country’s high-performing schools, as determined by state assessments. The list of 335 nationwide recipients includes public, private, charter, independent, and magnet schools.
Located west of Phoenix in Peoria, Vistancia’s 7,100-acre community includes 14 new home neighborhoods, two K-8 schools, retail shopping, and a private country club.
